Industrial Mechanical Labourer
Duties are to include assisting Millwright in documented preventative maintenance program. Must be able to follow instructions and work independently. Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills are required. This is mechanical work in a heavy industry setting and is very dirty from time to time and requires work in all weather conditions and temperatures. Excellent physical condition and the ability to lift and maneuver easily and deftly are required.
The preferred candidate will possess a valid current driver’s license and be insurable with no penalty to the Company. A current driver’s abstract will be required when asked for. Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to come with a set of hand tools that satisfies a list from the Company.
A welding certification or being competent in welding is a definite asset. Other assets include certification in industrial training or safety training.
Start Date: ASAP
Wage: $13.00/ hour
- Overtime due to customer demand does occur.
- Weekend work is a common occurrence.
- A benefit package is available after the probation period.
